The Art of Alessandra Silvia De Simone is like a window which shows the positive light which flows inside of hopes and dreams.

I like to think of her art as an optical prism which is able to capture emotions and return them in a different world with colours, lights, and materials that have the power to excite the heart. A world where we feel the joyous mood of the child and the adult suffering, as if you were comparing a relentless daily struggle for eternity.

In her art there is poetry. From the darkness, you can see the rebirth of life. From pain, hope and nostalgia, an explosion of colours, in a unique, eternal and fantasy world.

I have to thank Alessandra Silvia De Simone for accepting our invitation to present her show "La Danza dei Fili" that opened the Gala evening of the DWC (Dance World Cup) in Montreal. The show was exciting, and very moving. It involved many dancers and gymnasts of different origins in a splendid and unique performance.

I am happy about my meeting with Alessandra S. De Simone because it was a very important fo me and for my dancers, from which we learned so much. We understood that in art there are no limits, which limits are often in our mind. Even during the rehearsals, we witnessed moments of great emotion that excited us a lot. I am also pleased with the great success of the audience that really enjoyed the show

"La Danza dei Fili" is not a common performance. The profound message implicit in the movements, masks, music and poetry touches deeply those who are watching. The penultimate scene (the dance of wires scene), representing the union of various elements of nature, various aspects of the life and the union between different cultures and ethnic groups. But most important thing is the noble cause of the show: love each other, mutual respect and world peace.

When I photograph La Danza dei Filli, I felt something that I never had before. It’s so intense, emotional, that I was into another world. A beautiful world, full of love, without difference between people, ethnics, cultures, in which everything has a new color, a new sound and a new beautiful sensation. It is an big hope for a new life.

For me the La Danza dei Fili was a special experience that made me realize how lucky I am to have my art and to be able to express myself through this universal language. It was an experience that I will always carry in my heart and that allowed me to work together with wonderful people.

"La Danza dei Fili" is a theatrical show, but not only a show. It's a magical, engaging, exciting moment! Thanks to the wires masterfully handled by Alessandra Silvia De Simone, more worlds and different realities have come closer, even if in the end there emerges only one truth created by the complicity of a whole, of all those who have committed themselves to give life to this unforgettable and beautiful experience!

Generally our dances are always based on percussion instead for the show "La Danza dei Fili", I had to transform the Caribbean dances based on the Symphony. 9 of Beethoven and for me this represented a great challenge that the art director Alessandra Silvia De Simone gave me. But I am very proud and happy to have had this wonderful experience.

I participated in the creation of the theatrical performance "La Danza dei Fili" in Miami/USA , a show that is a hymn to life! The viewer is catapulted into a world where Love triumphs over everything and is directed into a path of tolerance and availability towards the "other". It’s suitable for both adults and children, exciting, you must to see it!
